 Permanent - Part time - 30 hours
 Salary £12.60 per hour
 For this role, we are currently considering candidates who live within approximately 15 miles of the Care Home. This ensures commutes are manageable and support your wellbeing and work-life balance. If you live outside this area but would still find the commute manageable, please get in touch - we are happy to review individual circumstances.

 About the role
 As a Domestic Assistant at MHA, you will be part of a dedicated team who provide a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
 Duties will be varied and include cleaning and general tidiness of a designated areas and maintaining the standards required. Every day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.
 About the home/scheme
 Weston &amp; Queensway House care home in Stafford
 Weston &amp; Queensway House is a specialist dementia care home where colleagues support residents with compassion, patience and understanding. The team atmosphere is friendly and supportive, helping new colleagues build confidence in their roles.
 Colleagues are encouraged to develop dementia specific skills, work collaboratively and contribute ideas that enhance residents’ wellbeing and quality of life. MHA’s charitable values underpin everything, promoting respect, dignity and kindness.

 About you
 The right values, attitude and behaviours are more important than your previous career background. Therefore, whilst previous experience is desirable, your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important.
 You do not need any qualifications to get started as a Domestic Assistant. You will have a kind, warm and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
