 About the role
 We are looking for a reliable and caring Housekeeper to join our team at MHA. This is an important role, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable, respected and at home.
 As a Housekeeper, you will play a key part in supporting residents’ wellbeing by maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, while always respecting dignity, privacy and individual needs.
 What you will do
 <ul>
 <li>Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the home.</li>
 <li>Clean residents’ rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, kitchens and other designated areas using appropriate methods and equipment.</li>
 <li>Ensure the home remains comfortable, tidy and odour-free at all times.</li>
 <li>Assist with laundry tasks, including bedding where required.</li>
 <li>Safely use, store and control cleaning materials in line with COSHH and health &amp; safety requirements.</li>
 <li>Monitor cleaning equipment and report faults or arrange repairs as required.</li>
 <li>Dispose of waste safely and appropriately.</li>
 <li>Respect residents’ privacy, dignity and choice at all times.</li>
 <li>Attend training, staff meetings, supervisions and appraisals as required.</li>
 </ul>
 About you
 We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in their work.
 You will bring:
 <ul>
 <li>Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (essential).</li>
 <li>Training in health and safety (essential).</li>
 <li>Good communication and listening skills.</li>
 <li>The ability to follow cleaning routines and work independently when required.</li>
 <li>Sensitivity to the needs of older people.</li>
 <li>A flexible approach to work, including covering on-call or emergency situations when needed.</li>
 <li>A QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health &amp; Social Care is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.</li>
