 This role would also include some weekend working.
 For this role, we are currently considering candidates who live within approximately 15 miles of the Care Home. This ensures commutes are manageable and support your wellbeing and work-life balance. If you live outside this area but would still find the commute manageable, please get in touch – we are happy to review individual circumstances.
 About the role
 We are looking for experienced Care Managers to play a critical role ensuring that both our residents and colleagues feel supported every single day. You will be responsible for the professional delivery of care to a number of residents within a specified geographical area and build strong local partnerships with key care professionals.
 What you will do
 <ul>
 <li>Provide confident, visible leadership to the home, creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment for residents, relatives and colleagues</li>
 <li>Lead, motivate and develop senior and wider teams, ensuring effective recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and performance management</li>
 <li>Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that meets their social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs</li>
 <li>Maintain responsibility for care planning, reviews and admissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements</li>
 <li>Promote residents’ dignity, independence, choice and involvement in decision-making</li>
 <li>Ensure robust safeguarding practice, with zero tolerance for abuse or neglect</li>
 <li>Take overall responsibility for medication management, health &amp; safety and infection prevention</li>
 <li>Oversee catering, activities and volunteer involvement to enhance residents’ quality of life</li>
 <li>Manage the home’s financial performance, ensuring budgets are controlled and the service remains sustainable</li>
 <li>Work collaboratively with your Area Manager, Quality Business Partner and other colleagues to drive continuous improvement</li>
 </ul>
 About you
 To be successful you will need experience of working in a care setting at a senior/supervisory level coupled with strong leadership and coaching skills. You will have proven experience in enabling older people to live later life well and enhancing their wellbeing.
 Instinctively you will feel a personal alignment to our company values and you will possess a wealth of experience within the care sector. You will be a positive team player who will deliver on our One MHA strategy and drive change with enthusiasm and innovation.
