 For this role, we are currently considering candidates who live within approximately 15 miles of the Care Home. This helps ensure commuting remains manageable and supports a healthy work-life balance. If you live slightly further away but feel the journey is suitable, we'd still love to hear from you.&nbsp;

 You'll become an important part of our friendly team, helping create nutritious meals, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting residents to enjoy every day.&nbsp;

 What you'll be doing&nbsp;
 As our Cook, you'll:&nbsp;

 <li>Prepare and cook nutritious, home-style meals for residents</li>
 <li>Cater for individual dietary requirements and preferences&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Order and manage kitchen supplies&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Work alongside colleagues to provide an excellent dining experience&nbsp; </li>

 As our Domestic Assistant, you'll:&nbsp;

 <li>Keep residents' bedrooms and communal areas clean and welcoming&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Follow infection prevention and cleaning procedures</li>
 <li>Help create a comfortable home environment&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Work as part of a supportive housekeeping team&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>

 You'll also&nbsp;have the opportunity to&nbsp;pick up additional&nbsp;Kitchen Assistant&nbsp;shifts on a relief basis, giving you extra earning potential and even greater variety.&nbsp;
 About you&nbsp;
 We're looking for someone who:&nbsp;

 <li>Enjoys cooking and preparing fresh meals&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>Is reliable, organised and enjoys keeping busy&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>Works well independently and as part of a team&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>Has a warm and caring approach&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>Holds (or is willing to work towards) a Food Hygiene qualification&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>
 </ul>
 Previous experience in catering, hospitality, housekeeping or care would be welcomed, but it's your attitude and values that matter most.&nbsp;
